History of TeamTX

To encourage the relationship between the North Texas Tollway Authority and Harris County Toll Road Authority, an organization called TeamTexas was formed in early 2002. This statewide transportation organization was created to promote regional and statewide solutions to improve mobility. A strong proponent of interoperability, TeamTX is made up of representatives from transportation agencies all over the State of Texas, including the Texas Department of Transportation, a number of regional mobility authorities, the North Texas Tollway Authority and the Harris County Toll Road Authority. The TXTAG logo was born through this organization to notify drivers where their TollTag or EZTag could be used.
